Located in the Ruby Valley of southwestern Montana, you will find the Boyd Angus Ranch. A spectacular ranch consisting of mountain range, lush hay meadows, prime cattle grassland and private ponds.

The ranch consists of around 5,400 total acres including State and BLM leases. The Boyd Angus Ranch offers spectacular views of the Ruby Range and Tobacco Root Mountains. Plentiful spots exist to slow down, take a breath and marvel over the beauty of the picturesque scenery. The ranch headquarters consists of a remodeled, two story brick Victorian 4 bed / 2 bath home. Near the main home stands an old western cabin adding a rustic appeal. Ranch developments include a calving barn, heated shop, machinery shop and a complete set of working corrals. Located down the road are two enclosed pens setup for livestock feeding.

Along the highway on the mountain pasture property includes newly constructed sorting and shipping corrals. New five wire fencing has also been installed to enclose this vast acreage of cattle range. The mountain pasture spans miles of terrain featuring a mixture of native grasses and sagebrush. A number of coulees and ravines span the area which also include some natural waterholes for the cattle at large.

Irrigation water rights date back to the 1800s and are very dependable. Water is supplied by the Ruby River and the Vigilante Canal running through the property. Water is distributed by 7 pivots of various sizes across the ranch in addition to flood irrigation.
