Montana drone pilot TJ Schwartz gives some videography tips on how to properly shoot drone footage for all those who may have acquired a drone over the holiday season.

Tip #1 - DO NOT SIMPLY ROTATE SHOTS
Try not to record just rotating your drone to capture video footage. Choose a point of interest and then rotate around the object for a much better video clip!!

Tip #2 - WATCH YOUR PROPELLERS IN THE SHOT
Some drones allow the gimbal angle to actually view upwards which causes the propellers to show up in the shot. This can also occur if you are flying forward at a high speed. Be aware of your propellers in the shot and gimbal down to at least 10 degrees to avoid recording them in your drone video shot.
